Pelvic floor yoga

A healthy pelvic floor is essential for both your physical and emotional well-being. Sometimes women experience an imbalance in the pelvic floor. There may be too much tension, or the pelvic floor may be too weak. This can result in various health issues. A healthy pelvic floor is both strong and relaxed.

Pelvic floor yoga helps you find the balance between strength and relaxation. Through targeted exercises, you can restore your pelvic floor to a healthy state, which not only provides physical relief but also enhances sensitivity and pleasure in your body.

For women who:

❇ have a weak pelvic floor leading to incontinence or other issues

❇ experience numbness in the pelvic floor, preventing them from fully enjoying sexual experiences

The session is fully tailored to your specific needs and complaints. We will discuss your desires, and you'll learn personalised practices. 

Practical guidance 

In addition to the yoga session, you will receive a customized PDF with exercises to practice at home. Regular practice will help you gradually strengthen and relax your pelvic floor.

Holistic approach

Pelvic floor issues are often linked to stress, emotions, or lifestyle patterns. We will look beyond the physical symptoms and discuss any mental or emotional blockages that might be affecting your pelvic area.

If you have symptoms

I am a certified yoga teacher, not a pelvic floor physiotherapist or gynecologist. I cannot diagnose your symptoms. These yoga sessions are meant as a complement to visiting a physiotherapist or gynecologist.​

I used to have a tight pelvic floor, and it hurt during sex. When I started doing yoga on a regular basis I got more and more in touch with my pelvic floor. I was training to become a yoga teacher and learnt how to make my pelvic floor healthy. Healthy means having a strong and relaxed pelvic floor. People often say that you need to train your pelvic floor, make it strong. Yes, I believe that too, BUT I strongly believe that having a relaxed pelvic floor is equally important.

Creating a healthy pelvic floor for myself gave me a beautiful bonus: the sensitivity of my pelvic floor has increased, I experience so much more pleasure!

As a yoga teacher and holistic sex coach, I approach the pelvic floor from different angles. Expect to get physical practices from me, and also that we'll be talking about other areas in your life that could affect the state of your pelvic floor.
